The designers at Eklego chose to create a simple and serene environment for the apartment in order to let the personality of the owner shine through. The aim was to create a canvas for the owner to colour, allowing his love of art, travel, and geography be reflected in the design of the space.

This was the rationale for choosing a somber colour palette, placing a dark brown parquet throughout the apartment to contrast with the vivid colours that make up most of the artwork. The designers created an eclectic style with the fusion of international artwork, modern as well as classic furniture, and unique design pieces. The designer chose to break down most of the walls of the apartment, giving it a loft-feel and creating a space that resembles a gallery.
