Eklego Design was hired to design an extension for the entrance and lobby of the existing MNHD office building. The new 350 sq.m. entrance houses the lobby, waiting areas, and some offices, and is surrounded by 1450 sq.m of landscaping.

The concept for the new entrance and structure is that of a lateral surface that extends outwards from the existing building and creates a platform and various planes that create additional space thus enlarging the existing entrance lobby. The design features an axis running across the space, using glass to create transparency and strengthen the indoor-outdoor connection. Rich noble materials such as marble and walnut wood are used throughout the interiors to create a sleek monochromatic environment.

The various layers of a beach front street (water, sand, property, street, and more property), is translated in design where the layout, materials, circulation and functions replicate and render these layers into a highly functional and aesthetic corporate office space.
